Description:
This rugged 2-8-2 Mikado was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in September of 1913 as CP 5089 but renumbered later to 5189. Specs - serial #52776, class P1e, 63" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 23x32" cylinders, engine weight of 280,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,395 lb. The loco was retired and scrapped in December of 1957 after 43 years of service. J. R. Quinn photo
