BO 2-8-8-4 #675 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:
Built by Baldwin in July of 1945 as B&O 2-8-8-4 #7625, an articulated Yellowstone type steam locomotive (serical #71507), it was one of the last steam locomotives built for the B&O. The loco was renumbered in February of 1957 to BO #675. It lasted until being scrapped in 1960. Specs - class EM-164" drivers, impressive 235 psi boiler pressure, four 24x32" cylinders, engine weight of 628,700 lb, impressive tractive effort of 115,056 lb. Paul W. Prescott photo
