ATSF GP7B 2790A |
Description: |
EMD GP7Bs are rare enough- only five were built, all for Santa Fe. John Pouch shot a nice overhead of 2790A at Clovis as it was preparing to leave town on a train. |

20% of the World's GP7Bs |
Description: |
EMD built only five GP7Bs and they all went to Santa Fe. During the mid-70s you could usually find one or two working as switchers at the Clovis NM yards. Here 2790A assists CF7 2553; it would be rebuilt with a cab and into a GP9U in 1978. |
