Ron Moraca General Most of the shortlines I've seen use second-, third-, and in some cases fourth-generation power, primarily because they can't afford modern diesels, but also because their roads are only 75-90 lb rail and the older, smaller units will run on them where the SD75I's, AC4400CW's and SD9043MAC's can't. 11/20/2004 12:51:09 AM
