| A second long hood cab shot (engineer's side) of NJT 4101. This paint scheme is the NJ Dept.of Transportation used prior to NJ Transit taking over passenger service. This engine wore this paint scheme from 1978 to 1981. NJ Transit Rail Operations repainetd this engine in this paint scheme October 2022 to honor the rol sof NJDOT and Conrail played in apssenger service before NJ Transit Rail Operations was formed.
