| When I first visited Faribault's Milwaukee Road depot in the summer of 1995, I was so taken by the name stamped on the platform's bricks that (to my brother's bemusement!) I snapped a picture. Revisiting the depot with my railfan friend Andy in 2023, I snapped another photo of these bricks, because I'd forgotten the name stamped on them: Flint Co. That brickmaker sure took pride in its work, no? |
