| Mississippi Export caboose 33 was at Moss Point, Mississippi on 23 February 1962, in green and yellow paint. The car had been built as Mobile & Ohio X170 in March 1914 and was renumbered 2879 after the M&O merged with the Gulf Mobile & Northern to form the GM&O. It was from the Mobile & Ohio X30 - X202 series, built between 1896 and 1928, and 57 of these cars became GM&O 2847-2903. The 2879 was sold to the MSE on 14 April 1958. |
