MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Marysville, Pennsylvania, on 28 April 1957. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9718 and two more "Shark" units whose numbers are not recorded. #9718 is a BF-16 built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in March of 1951 and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. This A-B-A set has just passed Marysville and is about to cross the Susquehanna River via the Rockville Bridge. ("Stoneborobranch"; #38 of 56) |
