| CNW 520056 was one of a cut of cars being extracted from the former SOO yard by a CN through freight at Neenah, WI on 19 Dec. '18. I enjoy espying former C&NW equipment on, or in this case very near, former C&NW rails. A remnant of the former C&NW main line is still in use about 100' beyond (east of) this boxcar. The W. Cecil St. overpass (Timothy Hamblin Bridge) can be seen at right. It was erected to eliminate the grade crossing (right about where this boxcar is) and opened to traffic on 20 Nov. '07. |
