Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Kern that was taken near Dauphin, Pennsylvania, on 20 October 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #559, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during November of 1914 and retired in August of 1959 after 45 years of faithful service.
