Interesting little yard switcher used in service on the Getty Branch in nearby upstate New York until electrification rendered them redundant and the entire class was retired in December 1926 with the exception of #39 (1913) which was sold to the Lima & Defiance RR. Specs -57" drivers, modest 160 psi boiler pressure, 16x22" cylinders, engine weight of 140,300 lb, modest tractive effort of 13,438 lb. Built by Alco-Brooks in 1912 as the first of the class D-2A, it was later renumbered 1911. This appears to be an Alco-Brooks builder's photo hence the date and location listed.
