| This view of 419 from Lester Av in Johnson City is notable not so much for the train, but how much has changed in the area over the years. The piles of dirt beyond the train were once the Endicott Johnson Paracord plant. That area will become a Wal Mart in a few years. Progress, I suppose, but not necessarily improvement. The SD 40s powering the train, like the EJ plant, will soon become a memory. |
