| 17th Street. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 25 April 1964. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #9536, #9782, and #9821. All were built by EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9536 is an EF-15 built in 1948. #9782 and #9821 are EF-15A's built in 1951. They are about to pass under the 17th Street Bridge with a 64-car eastbound TrucTrain. The caboose is #477897. |
