Rolling west  Contributor's Pick!
Train 557 rolls past QD on its way out of Binghamton. Gloomy day, but an Alco leading always brightens the day. The Lackawanna station is seen above the trailing unit, with the Erie freight house at far left, visible under the bridge. The Erie station stood immediately behind the power, and was razed in 1976 soon after the Conrail start up.
