A classic GG1 in basic black heads a Northeast Corridor train into Newark in March 1976. This was likely a Clocker, the term used for the trains that ran between New York and Philadelphia because once they ran every hour on the hour. This is the locomotive that Amtrak would later repaint in the PRR livery. |
