A FV&LS (or FOXY) train crosses W. 2nd St. as it works the former CN, originally C&NW, yard at Appleton Junction, WI, on 27 Mar. '25. The former Appleton Wood Products Co. factory, now part of the Miller Electric facility, stands to the left. Built in 1916, the walls include some nice, decorative brickwork (including cast or carved keystones depicting bowling pins above the windows), which Miller obscured with cheap metal siding at some point after they bought it ca. 1975. |
