I was goofing off, sipping coffee and enjoying the exhilarating Montana air while packing the bike in the morning when this outfit came rambling through the pines west of Essex. There was an MW gang waiting to get on after Amtrak so I hurriedly packed and headed east on US 2, hoping the train would stop for helpers at Essex. It did, thus allowing me to follow the train up Marias Pass. Here BNSF 756, decidedly outside of traditional warbonnet territory, is resplendent amongst the tall pines. |
