Southbound BNSF Coal Train DPU's  Contributor's Pick!
The DPU's on the C BTMPAM sit on the main as the conductor walks forward to make a cut and set out a badly bulging load of coal that was bad ordered. You can just make out the car directly on the crossing in the distance.

David Mead General I like this study a lot - the sun to start with makes so much difference. I like seeing the whole of the train and the person walking down the track gives us a good idea on how large your trains really are. The sizes and lengths of your trains are unimaginable in the UK. 1/31/2008 4:32:37 AM
George Redmond General Good shot, I think those BNSF ACEs look good. 1/31/2008 6:50:48 AM
Mike Kirsch General That is some dip in the rails. 1/31/2008 10:55:19 PM
Joe Magruder General This is just one of the many reasons I love railroading, having to be ready to deal with many unusual situations. You should've gotten a photo of the coal car after they set it out, Zach. 2/1/2008 1:44:03 PM
Alex Vaughn General Nice shot. Those things are huge! 2/2/2008 10:23:28 AM
