TCWR GP15C #4100 - Twin Cities & Western RR |
Description: |
Interesting loco seen here. It wears the TCWR label but appears on the sister line, RRVW roster. This must have been a transition moment before being repainted in RRVW colors. Built by EMD in November of 1955 as PRR GP9 #7039, it lasted through the Penn Central debacle before first landing on the Soo Line roster and then the TCWR with eventually sliding sideways to the RRVW roster. Eric Berg took the photo. |

TCWR GP15C #4101 - Twin Cities & Western |
Description: |
This loco started out as PRR GP9 #7017 before the PC and Conrail eras. It was sold to the Soo Line as SOO GP15C #4101. Next it landed on the TCWR roster before sliding over to sister line, RRVW. Eric Berg too the photo as it sat in the Breckenridge yard. |

TCWR GP15C #4101 - Twin Cities & Western |
Description: |
Nice distant shot of TCWR 4101 and 4103 as they sit in the Breckenridge yard. Both came from the ill-fated PC debacle - 4101 as PRR GP9 7017 while 4103 as NYC GP9 6044. Eric Berg captured the moment back in 2001. |
