PRR 4921, GG-1, 1962
Description:
Electrified. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 18 June 1962. Shown here is PRR engine #4921, a GG-1 built in Juniata during July of 1942 ~ some 20 years earlier! It is about to stop at the North Philadelphia Station with a passenger train bound for Trenton and New York City.
