Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 0-8-0 Class F-1 548, date, location, and photographer unknown, print by Gordon C. Bassett, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 548 was assigned to the Beardstown Division in February 1952, the print is marked Date C. 1953. This locomotive was built by the Brooks Works of Alco to USRA design in 1919 (c/n 61241) and sold for scrap in February 1954. Again I will point out the the location of the Fire Hose box, below the firebox, is not a good choice of locations.
