Description:
Dynamic brakes whine as LTS-71 rounds the curve west of Necedah with sand loads from Hi-Crush at Valley. They have to stop because the west switch in town was left lined for the siding. Behind 3690 are an SD40N and a GP60!

Description:
The weatherbeaten and heavily tagged 3690 is one of not many UP SD40-2s left that has not been rebuilt to SD40N and renumbered accordingly, like 1990 behind. It was also a direct purchase by UP upon construction in 1980, rather than a merger acquisition.
