Well lots has changed in this scene! The 2008 and 2201 are now in the new scheme. The parking lot has been paved and there's a garage in front of the antenna for the night crew to park their cars. The tracks by the office are different also. The barn has been moved to about where Im standing, and Peoples Coal is gone. |

On the Wrentham Branch, the 2002, a MLW with every paint scheme the Providence and Worcester used on the MLWs! Delivered in March of 1974 in the handsome parallelogram scheme. Its 2nd scheme of brown and red with a straight nose was applied in December of 1983. Converted to the large PW 3 stripe scheme in September of 1984, and was re-painted in this scheme around June of 1986. Finally the final scheme of brown and red V nose in August of 1989. The 2002 would have this scheme until retired. In 1994 the MLWs were retired where it became Maine Coast 2002. Today, 2007, the Maine Coast 2002, is now on the Great Western RR in Saskatchewan. |
