The double track is the Norfolk Southern “A” line (Bristol line) that runs from Knoxville to Bristol, VA. The set of tracks coming off the A line through the crossing is the start of the “S” line that goes to Linwood, NC.

After the intermodal passes, train 165 will uncouple from the train and pull unto the Morristown yard where the last unit in the consist, NS D9-40C 8779, will be uncoupled and taken east on the A line. 165’s power will then re-couple to the train, and proceed west on the A line to Knoxville, TN.
