Title:  RCRY 7545
Description:  Snowflakes swirl around this former Conrail GP10 at the Raritan Central's yard in the middle of Raritan Center. Originally built by GMD in 1957 as New York Central 6065. Renumbered as 7465, it would also run for Penn Central and Conrail before being rebuilt to a GP10 and renumbered again, this time as Conrail 7545. Retired and sold into private ownership in the 1980s, it would serve on both the freight trains of the C&S Railroad and excursions of Rail Tours Inc. at Jim Thorpe, PA before heading to New Jersey and its current owner.

Description:  Constructed by Alco in 1948 for the Illinois Terminal Railroad, this locomotive arrived at the museum from Vermont's Green Mountain Railroad in the 1990s. Restored to represent a New Haven RS-1 and used as part of the operating fleet on the Museum's y`rd excursions. Only one former NH RS-1 still exists today, 0670, privately owned and stored on the Central New England Railroad northeast of Danbury near Hartford.

Description:  The first standard gauge steam locomotive acquired by F. Nelson Bount for the collection that would eventually become Steamtown, this 1907 Alco built Mogul sat on display at the Edaville Railroad for many decades. Acquired by the Cape Cod Railroad before arriving in Danbury, the 1455 is one of five Boston & Maine steamers to survive today, one of two from the Blount collection.

Description:  St. Louis Car Company constructed this vehicle in 1928 as a doodlebug for the Seaboard Air Line as their number 2023. Acquired and converted to its current configuration by Sperry in 1945, it served detecting flaws in rails over the US rail network until 2003 when it was retired from active service.

Description:  The Danbury Railway Museum's own reporting marks on the cab of RSC-2 1513 barely hide those of Northern Central Railway, a railroad that operated the Liberty Limited Dinner Train out of New Freedom, PA where the current Steam into History nperation is today. The 1513 was one of the many Alco/MLW locomotives the NCRY operated between 1996 and 2001 when operations ceased.

This rare Alco RSC-2, owned by Vintage Locomotives Inc., now calls the Danbury Railway Museum home. The unit, former Seaboard Air Line 1513, also served Florida Power & Light before migrating north to Pennsylvania. This was the first locomotive to wear the current New Hope & Ivyland paint scheme.

Description:  Constructed by Alco in 1947 for the New Haven Railroad as an FA-1, this locomotive was mainly used to handle freight trains between Maybrook, NY and New Haven. Purchased by the LIRR in 1974, it was converted into a cab control car for use with Long Island commuter equipment, serving with numerous C-420s, GP38-2s and MP15s before retirement.
