CB&Q GP7 250 |
Description: |
Engineer Fred Huntley at the throttle of CB&Q GP7 250 on the East End Way Freight switching at Naperville, Illinois on April 19, 1965, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Shortly after taking this photo I was scolded by Engineer Fred Huntley (seen here) for standing in the middle of Burlington's triple track main. I never did that again. |

CB&Q GP7 250 |
Description: |
CB&Q GP7 250 eastbound at Naperville, Illinois on April 19, 1965, photo by Chuck Zeiler. We get a friendly wave from Engineer Fred Huntley as he gets the East End Way Freight out of town and heads east for more local switching. The second car back is a CN boxcar, likely loaded with rolls of newsprint paper for the local printing company in Downers Grove. |
